Fano Maohi wins 1st place overall at Hura Tahiti
Fano Maohi participated in Hura Tahiti's 4th annual tahitian dance competition and brought home the overall group prize. We are so grateful to all our team members who shared their dance and music talents. We are also grateful to our support team behind the curtains (seamstresses, parents, spouses, and families) that helped us to look good in front of the curtains. Congratulations to all who participated this year.

Fano Maohi competed in the 2007 Tahiti Taurua Nui I Las Vegas and brought home the first place trophy for the Ahuroa competition. An orginal musical composition from our Music Leader, Nephi Raihauti along with the voices of Meleani and Tau coupled with the flawless execution by the beautiful dancers Krysynt, Krysuan, Juliet, Nia, Kaini, Stephanie and Michelle moved the judges to tears.

Fano Maohi studios recently held its first recital. The event was a beautiful culmination of all the hard work and efforts of our students and their teachers. Bravo to all everyone who participated. Mauruuru to all who came and supported their family and friends. We will have one more recital this year please keep checking back for date and time.

Fano Maohi is proud to announce several events for 2008.
"Tahiti Tamure" will be held August 16th at Hillcrest High School located at 7350 S. 900 East in Salt Lake City, Utah. We invite all those who want to share in the culture to come and be apart of this event. We will feature competitions in group numbers, solos, music and drumming.
