Fano Maohi "Te Varua No Te Ori Tahiti" dance competition to be held June 25th and 26th at Hillcrest High School in Salt Lake City, Utah.
We are so proud of the students that participated in the latest Fano Maohi Recital. The event was a culmination of all the
hard work and efforts of our students and their teachers. The recital was held at the K2 Churches beautiful auditorium. Bravo
to everyone who participated. Mauruuru to all who came and supported their family and friends.
Fano Maohi wins 1st place overall at Hura Tahiti 2008
Fano Maohi participated in Hura Tahiti's 4th annual tahitian dance competition and brought home the overall group prize. We are so grateful to all our team members who shared their dance and music talents. We are also grateful to our support team behind the curtains (seamstresses, parents, spouses, and families) that helped us to look good in front of the curtains. Congratulations to all who participated this year.
Fano Maohi competed in the 2007 Tahiti
Taurua Nui I Las Vegas and brought home the first place
trophy for the Ahuroa competition. An orginal musical
composition from our Music Leader, Nephi Raihauti along
with the voices of Meleani and Tau coupled with the
flawless execution by the beautiful dancers Krysynt,
Krysuan, Juliet, Nia, Kaini, Stephanie and Michelle
moved the judges to tears.
